Bubble Post
Originally founded in Ghent in 2013, Bubble Post is now active in 16 cities in Belgium and the Netherlands. Its activities are focused on smart urban delivery, meaning that parcels and goods from various suppliers are efficiently combined in various routes with own proprietary software and are delivered from the outskirts of the city by eco-friendly vehicles, such as cargo bikes and refrigerator trucks fuelled by natural gas. On 7 August 2017 bpost entered into an agreement for the acquisition of Bubble Post by bpost. This confirms the growth ambitions of both companies in smart and sustainable urban delivery solutions and enhances the hybrid network of bpost with complementary expertise in cold transport.
