Nexive Carrier overview:
Nexive is the Italian leading private postal operator. A wholly owned subsidiary of the Dutch group PostNL, it operates in mail (regular, certified and registered), service of formal documents and parcel delivery – in the last field being almost entirely focused on e-commerce. It reaches over 80% of Italian families every day with its own mail network and 100% of families with the parcel network. It guarantees widespread coverage thanks to its 7,000 employees and more than 1,500 points in the territory between direct, indirect and retail point branches.
Nexive Description:
Nexive parcel network covers 100% of Italian households, while its mail network can handle the needs of 80% of the population. With a network of approximately 1,700 operating points (direct and indirect branches, retail points), it has a complete country-wide presence.
Nexive is also active in the print market as Italy’s third leading operator, with a production centre in Milan printing 500 million sheets per year for 230 million envelopes.
Since July 19, 2018 following the ministerial decree on the issuing of postal licences for service of judicial documents and delivery of notices of highway code violations, Nexive has been free to compete in a market worth approximately €360 million, offering services capable of enhancing the Italian public administration’s efficiency and halving the costs involved, for the benefit of all citizens.
At present Nexive is chosen daily by over 30,000 business operators, amongst which banks, insurance firms, media and telecommunications companies, utilities, SMEs and numerous public administration bodies. A success achieved through its development of services with high technological content and its ability to integrate all stages of production and distribution of mail.
Its headquarters are in Milan and the company employs 8,000 people, approximately 1,500 of whom directly.
