Marketing Campaigns and Operations Manager

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Campaigns and Operations Manager, this role is focused on managing the global marketing campaigns from initiation to leads tracking to support MetaPack’s sales and customer engagement targets. The role is also responsible for marketing operations including marketing automation and CRM systems, lead management and data/GDPR processes as well as budget management

Key Responsibilities and Job Standards

Campaigns:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of campaigns strategy to prospects and customers to support new business and upsell targets as well as Carrier and Customer Engagement programmes
  • Oversee and execute against marcom and lead generation activities by managing and defining campaign project plan including target data segmentation, emails, webinars, online content and briefings
  • Define campaign deliverables including presentations, white papers, infographics, customer stories and videos, webinars and customer events and work with the rest of the marketing team to get these delivered as part of the campaign plan
  • Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies, such as designers, animators and printers to deliver elements of the campaign activity
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns and ensure contacts and leads are entered in company CRM system
  • Provide support as required on events for large conferences to regional breakfast briefings

Operations:

  • Management and continuous refinement of the company’s lead management process in line with marketing and sales strategy
  • Manage and maintain the integration between Marketing Automation Act-On and CRM Microsoft Dynamics
  • Overall responsibility for the content and processes within Act-On
  • Work cross-functionally to help drive success in lead management and to track and improve funnel efficiency including educating and training as required
  • Joint Responsibility (with Digital Marketing Manager) for the optimisation and development of landing pages, forms and other campaign deliverables
  • Support the marketing department with GDPR compliance including data quality, governance and opt-in
  • Help define Marketing KPIs and Metrics, and implement in Microsoft Dynamics systems and Act-On
  • Manage the marketing database: processes, standards, field level values, access control, documentation, data cleansing, etc.
  • Manage the global Marketing budget and tracking of budget spend

 Key Skills required

  • 5+ years’ experience of campaign management and marketing operations in a B2B marketing environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally SaaS or enterprise software
  • Strong communications skills and experience working with senior stakeholders across disparate functions or teams
  • Experience in delivering timely projects, working with external agencies and colleagues across the business
  • Experience of crafting compelling value propositions, thought leadership content and sales assets
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of the customer buying journey and the marketing/sales funnel and how marketing campaigns and assets feed into it
  • Experience of Act-On and Microsoft Dynamics preferable
  • A strategic thinker who is not afraid to get stuck in and implement the strategy himself/herself
  • Minimum 2.1 Bachelor’s degree
