Yodel delivers for Photos Reunited and Petsupermarket

Digital photo scanning and legacy photo storage company, Photos Reunited, has joined forces with Yodel, the UK’s leading parcel delivery company, to offer its customers a fully trackable parcel service.

The scanning service allows customers to share their treasured photos by creating digital images from prints, slides and negatives. The originals are then returned to the customer together with a disc of the digitally enhanced pictures which are also uploaded to a central, secure online portal.

Photos Reunited, which had been using the Royal Mail for all of its deliveries, wanted a fully trackable delivery service to send an estimated 50,000 parcels each year.

Pete Boswell, managing director at Photos Reunited commented; “Our service preserves and enhances people’s photographs. Very often these images are of immense personal, emotional and sometimes historical significance and while we can create a digital version which will allow them to be enjoyed for generations to come, it is also vitally important that we can ensure the safe return of the originals.

"Yodel’s service helps to set Photos Reunited apart from other photo scanning companies by offering our customers a method of collection and delivery that they can trust and have complete confidence in.”

Speaking on behalf of Yodel, Sales Director, Jerry Kane added: “Yodel’s Neighbourhood service provides Photos Reunited with an effective, efficient and fully trackable solution that is flexible and secure to meet the needs of its customers.”
