New Product - Complete Delivery Solution

MetaPack are pleased to announce the launch of a new product this autumn. The Complete Delivery Solution (CDS) is a fully managed multi carrier solution which packages all the value of the industry acclaimed Delivery Manager software along with the added advantages of managing the carrier contracts, providing a consultancy service and issue resolution.

Steve Vass, Commercial Director at MetaPack explains, “over the years we have had a number of retailers ask us for this type of service, where they could entrust their delivery function into the hands of an expert and focus their attention to other parts of the business. CDS takes away the hassle of sourcing and contracting with a number of carriers and services while providing retailers with our years of knowledge and advice at their disposal through a dedicated Account Manager.”

This new solution gives retailers access to the multi-carrier platform: improving delivery options; speeding up despatch with automatic allocation and label printing; increasing first time delivery success with customer communication and tracking; as well as providing visibility and reporting throughout the whole delivery process. These benefits are the reason MetaPack’s Delivery Manager is rapidly being adopted across the board, but has not always been the ideal option for those with no resources available to manage it, which is where CDS comes in.

CDS is a pay-as-you-go system, where retailers are only charged the cost of carriage on their parcel which is invoiced monthly in one easy bill, irrespective of the number of carriers and services they use. This one cost includes all the additional benefits.

Steve continues, “we have already had significant interest in this product during development, with clients registering for implementation of the solution already into double figures and a number of these going live over the next couple of weeks. We see this product sitting nicely between the Delivery Manager software and parcel booking services such as Senda2b.”

Carriers available through the service are DPD, Interlink, Yodel, ParcelForce, Hermes, Nightfreight, Nightline, Collect + and Royal Mail.
