Technical Consultant – Carrier Integration
Working for the No1 provider of transport delivery solutions to the Retail Sector, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Consultant to join a dynamic, expanding business in an interesting and varied role, located in London EC1. Although a relatively small company our clients are large ‘blue chip’ retailers including M&S, JLP, B&Q, Dixons, PCWorld, Halfords, Jessops, Comet and Screwfix.The role will involve working with external partners and internal resource from all areas of the business to design and implement re-usable integration tools and solutions for our delivery management solution. In addition you will be working to specifications to designing and implement printed documentation to fulfil our partner carrier and customs specifications.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in systems integration projects together with excellent communication skills and a high level of competence in SQL, PL/SQL and developing XML/XSL transforms. are required for this role. Programming or scripting skills and previous exposure to the whole project lifecycle will be extremely advantageous but are not key requirements.
