Metapack's Operations Executive is made up of dynamic, high calibre people from leading blue chip, logistics, technology and consulting companies. Heading the team are David Burtenshaw and Patrick Wall.

Patrick Wall

CEO and Co-founder

Patrick incorporated MetaPack in November 1999.  He is responsible for strategic direction and team leadership. His career includes operations director and general manager for ICS, a national carrier delivering over 100 million items a year and a director of the specialist courier network, Hays DX. He has also worked with retailers as a strategy consultant with McKinsey Inc and as a supplier with Cadbury Schweppes plc. Patrick has over 25 years’ experience in distribution operations, consulting, sales and marketing.

David Burtenshaw

Chairman

David Burtenshaw has held senior/board positions in the parcels sector for 26 years including Federal Express (where he became Managing Director of their home delivery business), ANC and Lynx Express. He became CEO of Lynx in 1999 and Chairman of the Board of the EuroExpress partnership in 2001.
In 2005 David led the sale of the business to UPS and now holds a number of Non Executive Chairman positions including Metapack.
