MetaPack Delivery Manager goes live with John Lewis

The John Lewis Partnership have adopted MetaPack's Delivery Manager (DM) system to implement a rapid tactical solution. For an important part of their overall customer service offering, JLP now ship nearly a thousand parcels a day using MetaPack DM, in an implementation that took less than four weeks.

The new solution uses MetaPack's own fast import system, that can read any file type. Any customer can use the existing order file that sits within their existing systems. MetaPack Delivery Manager (DM) can quickly be configured (minutes rather than days or weeks) to read the file for upload. This easy process turns orders into carrier labels without any integration. Furthermore, as soon as the system was implemented John Lewis have been able to track all orders using MetaPack' s "easy view" web based tracking system.

Customer care teams in the contact centre and John Lewis store partners are able to identify where and when a parcel was despatched, where its been, its current status, where its going and when its due for delivery. If there are any problems MetaPack Delivery Manager (DM) will pick up the issues on its pro-active reports.
